When a painter is asked to quote the cost of a house project, without seeing the project, the quote will surely be ineffective because although the cost of the paint is static, the labor and speed at which the paint can be applied depends on the house itself, i.e. the eaves, board repairs, painting stripping, etc.

What we do combines a physical element with an emotional one. The tested and effective systems we have created are the vehicle that move people forward towards the goal of rehoming, however the emotional state and physical state of that person and home determine the speed at which the vehicle moves along.

Our rates are fixed, but every home and every person are unique. Everyones 2500 sq. feet look very different. This is why we offer complimentary consultation. We generally work in teams because it makes the work more efficient and in the long run less expensive than 1 person chipping away at it for days or weeks. On average, a move for a senior from their family home into independent or assisted living is between $3200-$4000. That’s soups to nuts, from space planning to packing to the physical move and setting up the new space and all the things in between like donation drop off, house clearing, etc..

Transitioning from your family home that you have been in for many years to a much smaller abode can be overwhelmingly stressful. Planning what furniture will fit and downsizing all your belongings to accommodate your new living space, takes time and patience. 

When working with All Organized to help you through your new transition, you can expect a highly trained and skilled team to walk you through the entire process. 

First, we would schedule a consultation where we would gather information from you about your lifestyle, personal needs and expectations. We will take a tour of your current home and help you handpick the furniture that will be functional in your new living space. We will create a floor plan to make sure the pieces that we are taking fit and are visually pleasing.

As we walk through your home, we will also determine the needs of downsizing belongings to make sure we are bringing exactly what is needed. 

We offer a variety of services and after assessing your home, we will be able to better equip you with a hand tailored move. Does your home have an abundance that simply will not fit in your new home? We will educate you on the options that you have. We will be able to “shop” your home and educate you on exactly what you will need to bring. Will you be choosing a dining plan with all three meals being provided? Then we will take this information and pack your kitchen appropriately. Will you be selling your home and need the home “staged” before we leave? We will coordinate with your realtor and discuss their needs for staging. Will you be needing an entire house clear out after the move? We will be able to discuss your options and how to best handle this.

All organized understands the importance of creating a new home that replicates the old home that you have been in for years. We will photograph all curio cabinets with the much loved treasures inside and make sure they are placed exactly how you originally had them.

Our professional packers and movers will wrap all belongings with care and respect. Our organizers will efficiently categorize items while packing to streamline organizing your belongings at your new home. 

Our professional movers will break down necessary furniture, safely wrap all pieces and move them to the new home and place them exactly as the floor plans describes.

By the end of move day, all furniture will be placed exactly as discussed and make sure that you are happy and satisfied with the placement. The bed will be made and your medicine will be on the nightstand and you will go to bed in fresh sheets ready to start the next transition of your life.

Helpful hints for move day:

During the hussel and bussel of move day, it is important to pack a bag as if you were going away for the weekend. The items that you need to pack would be 2-3 days of clothes, phone charger, all medicines and vitamins, personal hygiene products and toiletries, photo ID and medical cards. This suitcase should then be placed in your car the day of the move. 

In between moving from your home to your new home, it is highly suggested that you go and sit down for lunch with a friend or family member. It will give you much needed rest and also allows us the space needed when we are moving your new items into your home.
